This Cookie Policy explains how LinkGuard AI (operated by Andrii Andriievskyi, FOP, Ukraine) uses cookies and similar technologies on linkguard.ai. We keep it minimal — only the cookies required to run the service.

Security note: Both access_token and refresh_token are stored as HTTPOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict cookies. This means they cannot be accessed by JavaScript and are not transmitted on cross-site requests, protecting against XSS and CSRF attacks.
3. What We Do Not Use
We do not use:
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, or similar)
- Marketing or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.)
- Advertising cookies of any kind
- Fingerprinting scripts beyond the session authentication flow
4. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party cookies may be set only in the following scenarios:
- Google OAuth — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies as part of the OAuth flow. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Telegram OAuth — if you sign in with Telegram, Telegram's widget sets a transient cookie. Governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.
- Paddle checkout — when you initiate a token purchase, Paddle.com sets cookies in the checkout overlay to process the payment securely. Governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
Outside of these specific flows, no third-party scripts or tracking cookies are loaded on any page of linkguard.ai.
5. How to Control Cookies
5.1 Browser Settings
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View all cookies currently stored
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all third-party cookies
- Clear all cookies automatically when you close the browser
5.2 Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you disable essential cookies on linkguard.ai:
- You will not be able to log in or maintain a session
- The dashboard will not function correctly
- Your sidebar preference will not be remembered
Because we do not use analytics or marketing cookies, disabling non-essential cookies has no functional impact beyond the above.
